The mat work course is a stepping stone to the full comprehensive course. It is advised for students who do not have the time or resources to study the comprehensive course, or for those in locations without adequate Pilates equipment.

Usually the ProBridge course is run over 6 days, doing two modules per day. This one will run over 12 days, with the comprehensive course, so you get the benefit of the full course, for a lower cost. To qualify for this, you will need to show that you have completed courses in mat, reformer, wunda chair, cadillac and barrels with another Pilates training provider.

The Mat and Reformer Program combines the BASI Foundation Reformer repertoire and the Mat work teacher training program. Students who complete the Mat and Reformer Program are eligible to pursue the Global Comprehensive Program. This program follows our new Flex format consisting of four days (modules) delivered through a combination of in-studio sessions and pre-recorded lectures. In-studio modules include discussions, exercise analysis, and practice, while theoretical presentations are covered through online lectures available to view at your own pace.

Designed for Pilates instructors seeking to broaden their expertise, this course offers invaluable insights into working with clients facing complex health challenges.

When you sign up, you will receive recorded material to watch leading up to the course (or once you have paid in full) in your own time, ahead of the first weekend. It will be essential that you watch these recordings a few times over before the first weekend. You will receive some free credits to join our weekly BASI UK online classes followed by tutorial so that you can start to immerse your body and mind in the work.
